About this Book

The famous historian of the first three centuries of Hejrat, or Massoudi, says in his well - Known book Morouj al - Dhahab: When they counted those murdered under torture in Hajjaj's prison they were one hundred and twenty thousand men and fifty thousand women, and they were other than those who were murdered in wars started by Hajjaj!
Hajjaj ibn yusuf ath - Thagafia governed and rule in Kufah for the last twenty years of the first century of Hijrah. He was one of the Omawiyeh caliphates. His capital was Damascus. To conflict the peoples freedom and especially their love for Muhammad's (p.b.u.h) progeny and Ali ibn Abi Talib (p.b.u.h) they created tyranny and corruption far more than the imagination could think of. His hostility to wards the members of the Prophets household (p.b.u.t) and Ali's (p.b.u.h) companions was so much that at the time of his rule if they called someone an unbeliever it was far safer than calling him a Shiite of Ali (p.b.u.h).
This book which is adorned with lots of illustrations and compactly, easily written shows a view of this bloody governor and the Prophets (s.a.w) progeny's enemy, for their acquaintance, to children, and explains easily for the children to understand an example of a conversation between one of Ali ibn Abi Talib's (p.b.u.h) followers and Hajjaj.
