About this Book

Al-Kafi is the Most superior book of narration of Imamiyyah Shia containing three sections of Uṣūl (principles/roots), Furū‘ (branches) and Rawḍah (garden).
- The section of Uṣūl consists of narrations of Ahl al-Bayt (a) regarding principles of religion and ethics.
- The section of Furū‘ consists of narrations of Ahl al-Bayt (a) regarding the ten branches of Shi’ism.
- The section of Rawḍah consists of narrations of Ahl al-Bayt (a) on different and miscellaneous subjects.
In this Volume:
Narrations from 523 to 615 of the sections 15 to 35 covering the introduction to the Imams (a) and God’s hujjats from the verses of the Quran.
- Imams (a) have been introduced in the Quran in a general manner sometimes and in a particular manner at other times by mentioning an attribute.
- The superiority of the Imam and his attributes as per the Quran.
- Imam’s being the one who has the authority over the affairs and some people being jealous of this station of the Imam as per the Quran.
- God has spoken of Imams in the Quran as being ‘signs’.
