Al-Kafi is the Most superior book of narration of Imamiyyah Shia containing three sections of Uṣūl (principles/roots), Furū‘ (branches) and Rawḍah (garden).
- The section of Uṣūl consists of narrations of Ahl al-Bayt (a) regarding principles of religion and ethics.
- The section of Furū‘ consists of narrations of Ahl al-Bayt (a) regarding the ten branches of Shi’ism.
- The section of Rawḍah consists of narrations of Ahl al-Bayt (a) on different and miscellaneous subjects.
