Al-Kafi is the Most superior book of narration of Imamiyyah Shia containing three sections of Uṣūl (principles/roots), Furū‘ (branches) and Rawḍah (garden).
- The section of Uṣūl consists of narrations of Ahl al-Bayt (a) regarding principles of religion and ethics.
- The section of Furū‘ consists of narrations of Ahl al-Bayt (a) regarding the ten branches of Shi’ism.
- The section of Rawḍah consists of narrations of Ahl al-Bayt (a) on different and miscellaneous subjects.
In this Volume:
Narrations from 213 to 219, the first section of the book of Monotheism about the origination of the world and proof of the existence of the Creator.
- A preface regarding the use of these narrations by researchers written by Ayatollah Shaykh Muḥammad Riḍā Ja‘far ī.
- The narrations of this part are presented in the form of debates between the Imams (a) and the chiefs of atheism in their time.

o Creating doubt in the views of those who reject the Creator;
o Inciting the innate and essential perception of every person about the Creator;
